No one’s yet discovered the elixir of youth. There is no one fix for a longer, healthier life. What we do have, though, are nano or micro habits that together make all the difference.
Two Nano Health Habits
Breakfast strong: Timing matters; as does what we eat. Protein at breakfast blends the power of timing and strength together. How about scrambled eggs? Smoked salmon? Greek yoghurt.
Use it or lose it. It’s never too late to start building strength. Your body is waiting for you to show up.
One Lesson
Not all fats are the enemy: In the 1980s, we were told that fat free was best. Now the guidance is more nuanced.
Healthy fats, like those found in avocado and olive oils, nuts, seeds and fatty fish are actually good for us. Saturated fats are where the problem lies, so go spare on fats in foods like milk, butter and cheese.
